Lend a Helping Hand

Hello All,

Wanted to drop a line about lending a helping hand. I know as the holidays approach we love spending time with our families and friends and enjoying great food and fun times but we sometimes forget those who may not be as fortunate as us. I know sometimes we all can't give money donations but did you know you can donate some extra craft supplies. I was surfing the web and found this great information on http://www.crafster.org/. Lend a hand to someone. There are lots of local places would love to have your un-wanted/un-needed craft supplies! Here are some suggestions on where to check~ local schools, retirement centers, boys & girls clubs, day care centers, churches etc...But if you still can't find anyone to donate your crafty stuff to here is a list of organizations that need or can use craft supplies. If you know of any more just post it here and I'll add it to the list! St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital ~ Pick a craft, collect supplies, write out instructions and place everything in a zip loc bag. Crafts are given to patients and adults of all ages through the Happy Cart.
